Bears vs Eagles

 

This Sunday Night Football Week 11 will feature Philadelphia Eagles against Chiacago Bears at Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois.

The last time that this two teams met, Kyle Orton tied a career-high with three touchdown passes as the Bears edged the Eagles, 24-20, on Sept. 28, 2008. The Eagles have won five of the past seven vs. the Bears, but trail the overall series, 27-9-1.

The Eagles and the Bears will square off in crucial NFC showdown this Sunday Night football Week 11. They are trying to avoid a third straight loss.  Philadelphia parades a 5-4 record while the Bears are 4-5.

For the hosting Bears, things have gradually gone from bad to worse, especially for Jay Cutler. In last week’s game against the 49ers, Cutler threw a career-high 5 picks, in one of the ugliest games you’ll ever see. To make matters worse, every single one of Cutler’s interceptions last week gave the opposition great field positioning.

Cutler has thrown only two interceptions in the Bears’ four victories against 15 in their five losses. He has been intercepted 11 times in night games. Eight of his interceptions have come on third down, six on first, two on second and one on fourth, according to STATS. Nine have come in the first half; eight in the second. Eleven of his interceptions have come out of shotgun. Only three have come on blitzes.

For the visiting Eagles, Brian Westbrook’s injury seems to bring a lot of bad influence to Eagles’ defense. Donovan McNabb also did badly in the last game against San Diego Chargers. The Eagles went to the West Coast for the second time this season and for the second time they came up short, this time in a loss to the Chargers. 

Both teams want to use this chance to achieve a breakthrough.
