If your girlfriend ended your relationship and you want her back, chances are you’ve already taken steps to get there. In all likelihood, not all of the steps you’ve taken have been good ones. If you’ve gotten to the point where your ex-girlfriend won’t even talk to you anymore, you’ve probably made some pretty bad choices. Most guys think they can fix things if they can only talk to their ex, and the sooner the better. What they don’t realize is that by giving your ex-girlfriend time alone she gets the chance to see what life is like without you in it. When this happens she’ll actually start to miss you. The next step after missing you is wanting you back, so this is exactly the state of mind you want to put your ex into.Making contact with your ex-girlfriend when you want her back is a key part of fixing the breakup. Critical to your success is choosing the right time and place to reconnect with your ex. This isn’t something you should probably do face to face, but in some cases that approach can actually work. In all other cases, a well-placed phone call for all the right reasons is the way to go. E-mail is another way of getting back in touch with your ex-girlfriend, but it’s a lot less personal, and might not yield the same results.Ideally, you should get your ex-girlfriend to call you. Believe it or not there are some easy ways to do this. Two big things will happen here: first, you’ll be in a much greater position of power when your ex calls you. Second, she’ll be a lot more receptive to what you have to say. First contact with your ex is not the time and place to resolve all your problems, and in fact it’s the worst time to bring up the subject of your breakup. You want to maintain a casual, natural conversation that will put your ex ease and make her feel the most comfortable. There are specific times that are better than others when it comes to making contact with your ex-girlfriend, and you should know what they are before making your first move.
